I am interested in game design and like to make them as a hobby. When I feel I have made a finished, working, playable game I will add it to the collection of my titles available for free download here.

My twin, Blohod, and I have formed an (unofficial) studio knows as Meepanda, we have currently released one game and are working on a second. The finished game is called 'Blocky Copy' and you can learn more about it below. Our current project is planned to be a 2D, zombie survival, medieval castle construction type effort (not as dumb as it sounds). The pitch for it is included below and it should hopefully be completed sometime in 2019.

I actually have a qualification in game design and am planning to study it along with software development at university next year, so perhaps I can then make something semi-decent, but we'll see. As with all the other creative content on this site, I don't just want it to be about me so if you have a game you have made and would like to share, that'd be awesome!

Blocky Copy

Blocky Copy is a simple yet fun game about matching little patterns of blocks as quickly and accurately as possible, it may sound easy, but be warned; things can get challenging pretty fast.

The game also features  a level creator, for endless creation and playability, it's very easy to create and share bonus levels, on top of the 35 included in the base game. You can also download a whole bunch of extra levels I've made here. All music is original and created by Blohod and I. A download link for Blocky Copy and more information can be found at it's Itch.io page.

Planned 2nd Game

General Idea

The basic idea of the game is to build a castle and defend it in the middle of a zombie-infested area. The player receives money for each zombie killed and can use this money to purchase new weapons, castle components, and hire guards.

Story

In a time of ages past, a medieval lord from a distant kingdom sets sail on a grand adventure across the seas to find new land. Unfortunately, disaster strikes mid voyage as a savage storm batters the ship and washes it towards an eerie, uncharted island. Hurtling down a river cutting through the centre of the isle, the ship strikes a reef and its hull shattered. The lord, ship’s architect, merchant and several crewmen are thrown overboard and wash downriver, the rest of the sailors are presumably lost with the ship.

Suddenly the company is carried over a large waterfall and down into a immense underground cavern, where the river continues beneath the surface of the island. Waking from a daze, the lord soon discovers that the company is not alone in the cavern, as it is inhabited by fearsome ghouls that attack intermittently. Taking stock of the situation and preparing to survive it is decided that a piece of broken ship carried downriver with the sailors will be used as a fort, stationed across the river from the gathering ghouls, this way, they can only attack every so often when the tide is low, according to cycles of the moon. The lord assess means of survival here in this dank cave, and prepares to meet the attackers the only way he knows how, defending from his own medieval castle.

Playing as the lord, the player has to build up their fort into a towering medieval castle, repel attacking waves of monsters, and can buy new castle components like walls, doors and floors. They can purchase turrets, traps and equipment from the merchant, hire lost members of the crew to help defend and must ultimately build high enough to escape the cavern, before repairing the broken ship and escaping.
